Customer marketing is a team sport, it’s important that you work well with the other teams that have touchpoints with the customer. With that information, define what the role of marketing will be throughout the customer journey after the sale. Your two key stakeholders in this will be sales and customer success, and you’ll have to work tightly together to make sure there’s no stepping on toes and that they understand that the role of marketing is really to help in this process.
