Evaluation and Management Coding Changes (US)

In 1992, the American Medical Association (AMA), in conjunction with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), introduced a coding system to standardize charges for patient care. As of January 1, 2021, codes for the evaluation and management (E/M) CPT codes were revised extensively, among many other changes. This course explains the new changes, why they were made, and how they will affect medical practices.
